A Voter Directed Democracy (a.k.a. an Independent online, constitutional voter controlled democratic republic) is a type of modern democratic republic that seeks to equally empower all individual voters to make all political decisions at all levels of government via the online platform Voter Directed Network. The backbone of this philosophy can be distilled down to the phrase:

“One Voter, One Vote on All Matters of Importance.”

Abbreviated: “1C1V”

This is an idea of modern and evolved online constitutional democratic republicanism. The Voter Directed Democracy political philosophy and the Voter Directed Network app are 100% consistent with the U.S. Constitution. We fully support the U.S. Constitution, which creates an Independent democratic republic. Political parties are NOT a part of the U.S. Constitution. According to the U.S. Constitution, all voters were meant to be Independents represented by Independent elect officials at all levels of government. Additionally, President George Washington- an Independent!- spoke extensively about the corruption, violence, divisiveness, and authoritarian nature of party controlled politics in his farewell address.

Thus, the implementation of Voter Directed Democracy and the political evolution from the corrupt and violent party controlled political system into Independent, online, voter controlled democratic republics can and should occur without any constitutional amendment, legislative bill, executive order, or judicial decisions of any kind and at any level. Voters just have to choose it. Whenever enough voters individually choose to evolve by joining Voter Directed Network our corrupt, violent, and Techno-Authoritarian party controlled political system will then evolve into this system of modern, transparent, and accountable Techno-Democratic Republicanism. We are not advocating for any changes to the U.S. Constitution. It is not a perfect constitution but we love and fully support the U.S. Constitution. We are only advocating for a new, modern, evolved, honest, transparent, logical, intuitive, peaceful, and accountable way of practicing constitutional democratic republicanism.

Furthermore, the flaws, violence, and authoritarian nature of partisanship is a well-documented, deeply-researched, and clearly established fact within political science. Partisanship/party politics- dividing voters, elected officials, and political institutions into groups and having them “fight” against each other- is a form of prejudice. It’s an unfortunately widely accepted and widely practiced system of political prejudice. It’s a divide and conquer system of government that does not function to represent voters. Asking voters Yes/No on all or at least the most important issues, bills, and executive orders is the best way to honestly and objectively source and implement the Will of the People to represent voters. No other institution divides its employees/workers/members into Team Red and Team Blue, have them fight each other, and expects the institution to function well. Partisanship is an absurd and insane model for any institution, which is why it’s not replicated in any other part of society or industry. Many different industries both for profit and non-profit use and promote values of Courage, Honesty, Integrity, Service etc. because those virtues benefit humanity and have broad applicability. Partisanship, however, is only practiced in our authoritarian political system because it is a harmful, divisive, violent, and easily corruptible system.

In other words: Let Voters Decide Yes or No on all issues via an online platform and the republic implements this collectively and transparently determined Will of the People.…The most honest and easiest way to represent any group has always been to ask them what they want.

Asking all voters Yes or No on the most important issues issues has always been the best way to practice constitutional democratic republicanism that corrupt and authoritarian party controlled political structures have always refused. This is because political parties do not support democratic republicanism. Political parties are flawed, easily corruptible, often violent, and authoritarian political institutions created to centralize and consolidate political power. The centralization and consolidation of political power is the defining characteristic of an authoritarian political system. Political parties do not function to represent voters. Political parties function to control voters. Political parties have never even attempted to ask all voters their Yes/No vote on anything. Imagine, in 1800 our government could have easily built a system that asks voters Yes/No on the most important issues 3-4 times a year by mailing out ballots to all voters. Voters would have a few weeks to discuss the issues on the ballot, research the issues, complete their ballots, and mail them back to Washington, D.C. The government would openly and transparently tally the ballots and the executive branch and legislative branch would act accordingly to implement the Will of the People. Easy. Honest. Transparent. Accountable democratic republicanism. Voter controlled democratic republics have always been available to us but corrupt and divisive party controlled politics has always refused. REPRESENTING VOTERS, representing the collective consciousness of voters, sourcing and implementing the real Will of the People has never been that difficult of a task. Party controlled political systems have just refused to do it and follow the U.S. Constitution because it would take away their authoritarian hold over political and economic power.

Lastly, the U.S. Constitution very importantly protects the right to peaceably assemble. But the U.S. Constitution does NOT support the creation of powerful political institutions that centralize and consolidate political power and create authoritarian political groups more powerful than voters’ collective will. Voters can and should organize around improving society in any way that is wise and just. Good. Please continue to do that. Create those groups. Promote and organize around ideas of freedom, liberation, justice, love, compassion etc. Organize and assemble around any and all issues you are passionate about and think will make the world a better place. We do this already and it’s beautiful. But we should NOT create political institutions designed to centralize and consolidate political power- that’s literally the definition, the distinguishing feature of an authoritarian political structure. Keep real Yes/No political power Independent. Leave all real Yes/No political power in the hands of all voters on all issues. That is true political freedom, popular sovereignty, and self-governance.

Main Goals:

The main goals of political philosophy of Voter Directed Democracy and the Online Political Evolution on Voter Directed Network are to empower all legal voters equally in order to achieve:

1. Online Political Evolution. Modernize and evolve Flawed Democracy. Bring our democratic republics online, out of the 1800’s, and into the Digital Age. We have improved and advanced so many other parts of modern society with advanced computer technology- communication, transportation, education, medicine, banking, commerce, entertainment etc.- it is time to do the same with our political system and modernize and evolve our democratic republics by bringing them online.

2. Reduced political corruption. Flawed Democracy is the result of financial corruption and agenda corruption within our political systems created by decades of terrible political decisions from the broken, flawed, immensely corrupt, often violent, incredibly divisive, and increasingly authoritarian party drivenproblem. Voter Directed Democracy and the Online Political Evolution on Voter Directed Network will create a more honest, transparent, and accountable political system.

3. Openly and transparently determine the real Will of the People at all levels of government. Create a virtual room, an online platform for each constituency where voters and elected officials can come together, discuss all relevant issues, and VOTE on all matters of importance at all levels of government. This is the voter directed solution to the party driven problem.

The ONLY path away from authoritarianism humanity has EVER had involved inventing, enhancing, or improving democracy and our democratic republic.

Now it is time to improve them again and evolve our democratic republics and bring them into the Digital Age.

The 80% Bill

Over 80% of U.S. voters want to end perpetual war, end the housing crisis, improve healthcare, address political corruption, create a fair tax system, and so many other things but our obviously authoritarian, violent, and corrupt party controlled political system has refused to implement these widely supported ideas for DECADES. Voters often disagree about “how” we get there but most voters want many of the same anti-violence, anti-corruption, and pro-justice outcomes to be implemented.

It doesn’t matter which political party- Team Red or Team Blue- has more political power these ideas have not been implemented. Both major U.S. political parties are different brands of authoritarian corruption and power. Both political parties have been controlled by the same class of authoritarian oligarchs for decades. 

Voters are clearly NOT the problem. Voters have no real political power. Real political power is Yes/No political power. How can a group of people with no real political power be creating and perpetuating these long term, systemic social, political, and economic problems?

The biggest systemic problem corrupting and breaking our democratic republic is what has always been the biggest systemic political problem- the corruption, violence, and inherently authoritarian nature of party controlled politics. 

The party controlled political system was not created to represent voters. It was created to control voters and centralize and consolidate political power.

The solution to authoritarian party politics has always been the same: Independence. Independent thought, moral reasoning, media, voters, and elected officials. Political parties are not a part of the U.S. Constitution. By constitutional design, all voters were meant to be Independents, directly influence all political decisions, and be represented in government by Independent elected officials at all levels. 

There are many different ways to illustrate how authoritarian the U.S. political system has become. The 80% Bill is just one piece of evidence that clearly illustrates that the U.S. political system is NOT functioning as the voter controlled democratic republic that the U.S. Constitution creates. The U.S. political system is undeniably a party controlled oligarchy with clear features of plutocracy and kleptocracy.
