Political Buzzwords and Party Driven Language
Let’s talk about the divisiveness and danger of political buzzwords. Political buzzwords lack objectivity. They’ve been used and misused so many times that they’ve lost all real meaning. These words no longer serve clear and precise communication. They’ve become emotional triggers, not tools for understanding.
The most common ones used by the party driven system to divide and conquer voters are left and right, liberal and conservative, Democratic Party and Republican Party.
Don’t use these words. They are rhetoric — tools of manipulation — the language of the divide and conquer party driven political system.
When you have political discussions, talk about your values, your virtues, your principles. These are useful. They have meaning. They are more objective, less subjective. And if you truly believe in them, they don’t change.
Even better, when you’re having political conversations or talking about our social, political, and economic challenges, focus on the issues themselves, one at a time. Be as precise, specific, and clear as you can. Every time you use divisive buzzwords — liberal, conservative, left, right, Democrat, Republican — you give away your power.
Political buzzwords are meant to trigger you. They’re meant to make you angry or afraid. They’re meant to signal that your “group” is under attack — to keep you in fear, to keep you divided.
But here’s the truth: none of us fully represent what those words are supposed to mean. I don’t know anyone who agrees completely with either political party.
Most voters see the corruption of the entire party-driven system. Most voters understand how broken and flawed it is and will tell you the same thing — that every election feels like choosing the lesser of two evils. Because the system itself is broken. It’s deeply flawed, immensely corrupt, and increasingly authoritarian.
So don’t play that game. Don’t use those words. They are designed to manipulate you. To put you in boxes. To herd you into institutions and identities that serve the system and maintain the status quo, which does not help or serve most voters.
The real truth is that every one of us is a unique individual. We each have our own constellation of beliefs, perspectives, and ideas — shaped by what we’ve seen, what we’ve learned, what we’ve lived. Even in the same household, our experiences, perspectives, and opinions can differ completely.
So don’t let yourself be triggered. Don’t let yourself be herded.
Stand in your own power. Stand in your own light. Stand in your own energy as an individual voter— because that’s exactly how the U.S. Constitution sees you. It’s an extraordinary document — a structure for individual voters to live collectively. A structure for voters to come together in a democratic republic.
So don’t fall for the rhetoric of the party-driven system. Don’t use those political buzzwords. You are not a label. You are not a box. You are a unique, thinking, feeling human being with the right and power to shape your world.
And with the Online Political Evolution on Voter Directed Network, you can do exactly that. You can stand in your individual, beautiful, strong energy — and advocate for the world you believe in.
